‘Engelandvaarder’’ are the men and women who managed to escape to the Allied forces in England from occupied territory during the WWII.
The Engelandvaarders which were present were baronesse E.M. de Smeth-Brandon, dhr. Jan Staal, generaal-majoor b.d. Hemmes, dhr. Grisnigt, dhr. Bartelings, dhr. Jonker, dhr. Zuidijk, dhr. Hendrikx, dhr. Uiling en dhr. Hinderink.
